Carolyn Capern combines a deep appreciation for storytelling with an enthusiasm for technology. Carolyn drives creative strategy and project implementation in her role at CT Social, working closely with clients to build a deeper understanding of their vision and goals and bring them to life. Alongside her co-founder Greg Trujillo, she has overseen production on local, regional, national, and international interactive development projects and served as digital marketing strategist for prominent regional cause-based campaigns such as the nationally recognized Rethink Homelessness campaign.

Carolyn is an Instructor at the Edyth Busch Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Rollins College, and has spoken at the Florida Bloggers Conference and private groups including T-Mobile, the Zebra Coalition, the Orlando Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way of Florida. She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 92 and is a co-founder of The Collective, an Orlando-based group empowering social change agents on the local level.

Carolyn studied Political Science and History at American University in Washington, DC. Carolyn’s writing work has been published by the Orlando Business Journal, the International Association of Business Communicators, HostDime, Central Florida Top 5, and more. In 2015, Carolyn contributed to the writing team for Finding Their Way Home: Rethinking Homelessness for Veterans in Central Florida, a report released by the Central Florida Regional Commission on Homelessness to announce a historic reduction in Veterans homelessness.
