As people are more inter-connected, they yearn for more authenticity. We are hard-wired for community. Trust is built over time, it does not scale alone—nor brooks deficit spending. People are not their money. Like every currency it's a tool. The most important currencies never appear on a balance sheet.
Character *can* be built thru timeless lessons (Golden Rule, etc.) & many other threads in this social fabric that refuses to unravel, in face of claims it must submit to the demands of millennials.
The more important the decisions, the more likely they are done in person. Yes or yes? Sol'ns to growing fintech sector will flourish when cost-cutting accountants get sacked & UX (my other proposed talk) reigns.
